About the Role
In this intern role, we are seeking a motivated and dedicated intern student that is currently in school working towards their degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or other types of Human services degrees. In this internship, the intern will be training on the licensing and opening of new foster homes, intake and assessment, as well as working with foster parents and youth here at Sandria Foster Care Agency. This work includes building strong relationships with foster parents, youth, and service partners in the community. Interns can receive school credit for participating in this internship and will gain valuable hands-on experience.

Requirements
Responsibilities
Internship responsibilities vary and are based on the agreement between the educational institution and Sandria Foster Care Agency.
Perform all work in a manner consistent with Sandria Foster Care Agencies mission, values, and philosophies.
Minimum Qualifications
Enrollment in an accredited educational program. Specifically Social Services or other Human Services degrees.
Specific qualifications will be based on internship details
Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smart phones, tablets, printers, photocopiers, as well as software including Microsoft Office Suite, Google, and database programs.
